Rental - $2,600.00
Loss of wages - $1,640.00
Doc bill - $1,100.00
Total disabled - 1 week
Partial disabled - 30 days
Injuries:

The other driver was at fault - ran a red light and T-boned my car

Rental amount irrelevant.

Vehicle Damage supports decent impact.

Unless you were given a specific disability rating by the AMA, which you would not be for the injuries described, then you were not disabled.

Bruises and scraps (contusion) are worth very very little - $50-$100
Concussion since minor again worth very little. - $200-$400
Neck & back sprain. I am assuming by small amount of meds that you needed little treatment (no PT or chiro) but I would really need to know how much you treated before making an estimate. For fun I will assume that you had ER visit with 1 GP visit and you were sore for a month afterwards. I would give you $400-$500.

You would be reimbursed for wage loss if medically documented as being released from work - you just can't stay home on your own and be reimbursed for it. Med reimbursement depends on state.

So I would estimate your pain and suffering alone to be worth $650 - $1,000. I know you think it is worth more and it may be but keep in mind I am going off of limited information. If you needed additional treatment I would put the settlement on the upper end of the scale. I also am not aware of what your venue and state laws are like. It is possible that you do not even meet the qualifications for the claim. Something to keep in mind is that your amount of meds are irrelevant and do not play into the settlement of your claim. If you have heard 2 or 3 times meds - forget it, that is not how claims are settled due to the high $ amount of diagnostic testing now a days.

With that said it will take the adj anywhere from 6-12 weeks to get records depending on who they have to get them from and another 15-30 days to review. This is a busy time of year for adj with all the bad weather.
