No rawhide, that is bad for dogs.

Pig ears and cow hooves are great and my dogs love them. Some dogs DO have problems with it. When you first give this stuff to your dog watch her very carefully because she could choke.

A lot of chewies can be choked on, so make sure you get her something like nylon or rubber or vegetable proteins. These don't break up into chunks and won't be choked on.

The kongs are good, some of the stuffed animals you get at pet stores work well too...as long as they are firmer, and you toss them once they rip open. Do not let your puppy eat the stuffing!

When our dog was young, we would put rawhide chews and such in the freezer every now and then. The cold soothed his tired teeth and gums after a long day of puppy play. He also really enjoyed the occasional frozen piece of vegetables when we were cooking. Just make sure you don't give him things out of the freezer more than once every 3 days or so, and not at the same time each day or you will have a very excited dog every time you open your freezer.

There are all kinds of stuff you can buy from the store but one thing that I can suggest is to put a ball (no bigger than he can get in his mouth), in a sock and tie a not at the top. I have not seen a dog yet that will not play and chew on it.

See if it will chew on ice cubes. Some dogs like raw potatoes. Feed dry dog food, no soft stuff. Maybe an old shoe, perferably one that does not have the scent of any house hold members.

Let your imagination be your guide. An empty milk jug is another good one. Just make sure that there aren't any small parts that could be swallowed and choked on.

These two toys have been our best purchases for our teething puppy. Here's a link to puppy teething keys: http://www.dog.com/itemdy00.asp?T1=101075+SM&Category=Puppy+Supplies

Also, she likes this teething stick/toy: http://www.peskypup.com/viewProduct.cfm?ProductID=14
You can freeze it too, which makes it crunchy. The cold also numbs her gums.

You can get both of these toys at pet stores. We got them at Petco.

We also give our puppy ice cubes; again, the cold helps her teeth and she gets to crunch on the ice. We've also tried freezing chicken broth, which she likes. Hope that helps!

You can give your puppy Kong's to chew (with snacks) or some of my favorites are ice cubes w/fruit juice (strawberry, grape, cherry) or a great one to leave out is mini bagels (frozen). These make a great chew toy for teething pups. I also suggest that if your pup is teething and has something he should not have, always replace it with something he is allowed to chew. Just a little dogie psychology.

There are some teething toys you can buy for dogs but if you can't find them try and find something fairly hard, not too hard though!
