my girlfriend is studying abroad in lancaster and i was hoping to send her some of her favorite flavor of ice cream. anybody know of an ice cream place that would deliver to her? thanks!

Tesco does Home delivery. try tesco.co.uk ( just in case you don't know it's a supermarket )

That's something I never got to see on my street. Everyone had refrigerators when I moved at the age of three to a new big house a block away from where I'd lived previously. My best friend on that new street, had a house with an indoor back porch, and she showed me where the ice man had delivered ice and set it inside a cupboard on that porch, and her mom would go out and chip away at it and put some in the freezer part of her icebox at one time. The same refrigerator I grew up with, was eventually put into a third house that was new and modern. And it went down into the family room later to be used for extra storage and also for parties as well. It was older than me, and it was still running strong when I was last there. They sure don't make appliances like they used to, do they?

most suppermarkets do, but if you search for welsh ice cream manufacturers, then there is a company (that mainly dose theater deliveries) but will deliver to your door (or ur girl friends door)
