It's not so much that one transforms into the other -- you have both fat cells and muscle tissue in your body, and what you're doing is changing the proportion of them. When you stop working out, you will lose some muscle mass, but it will take considerably longer than 6 weeks for it to atrophy away to almost nothing. It also takes time for fat to accumulate, but if you've been sedentary for the past week, there are other factors to consider -- you may actually be retaining extra water due to whatever you've been eating during this post-surgical recovery period, and your metabolism has slowed down a bit because you're not expending the energy your body is accustomed to burning. I wouldn't worry about it too much; just eat a healthy, well-balanced diet and start slowly when you start working out again. To burn off the fat, you'll need some aerobic exercise as well, so once you're given a green light to exercise again, start walking or doing a light jog three to four times a week in addition to weight training.

Muscles are product of muscle fiber, a specialised variety of tissue. Fats are made from a deposit of saved fatty tissues. Neither you can actually grow to be the opposite. When you undertaking, you fritter away the shop of fats you own for vigour and your muscle fibers come to be more potent and the noticeable muscle tissues come to be extra outlined-watching. When you quit exercise, your muscle fibers weaken and muscle tissues seem much less outlined. But your retailer of fats will rebuild, inflicting your thighs to seem fats and "flabby". If your legs are enormous now with muscle, you would take a look at switching to an undertaking regime that's reduce have an effect on in your legs and thighs, however nonetheless presents adequate undertaking to create a few definition of muscle. Your thighs won't get smaller if you make a decision to not undertaking, they are going to with no trouble seem susceptible and the flesh will begin to sag underneath the load of slack muscle tissues and fats deposits.
