"не имейте никакие сожаления когда вы стары" Is The Direct Translation. I Want A Translation Of the Way You'd Actually Say To Someone, "Have No Regrets When Your Old". I Know That "не имейте никакие сожаления когда вы стары " Would Not Work. True It Would Get The Point Accross, But Its Not Proper Russian Grammer.

Frankly speaking, all the translations given above sound clumsy.. I am a native Russian speaker and I would say that any of them is a proper, grammatically correct and polite Russian..

Не имейте никакие сожаления когда вы стары

Is not correct first of all from the grammatical standpoint

Не имейте никаких сожалений когда Вы стары

Stylistically It does not sound well "Не имейте никаких сожалений", it's a word for word tranlsation from English, I would say "Не сожалейте"

"Вы" should be obligatory written with a capital "В" letter if you address to a single person, because if you write it without, you'll offend the person!)

"стары" has a humiliating meaning, you should never say so to an old person, I would rather replace it with "преклонный возраст".

Eventually, here's the result, I also added the accent mark in front of every accentuated syllable in the spelling to help you achieve a perfect pronunciation:

Не сожалейте ни о чем, когда Вы в преклонном возрасте.

(Ne sozha'leyte ni o 'chem, kog'da 'Vy v prek'lonnom 'vozraste.)
