I have been walking during my lunch hour, doing 40 minutes of turbo jam at night, doing weight watchers, and going to bed 1/2 hour earlier at night to try to help. Any other recommendations?

have you checked it out with your doctor
you might consider some blood work as all of the above could be causing your fatigue

Do you think you might suffer from depression? Some people do and dont even realize it.I had that same problem but i knew i suffered from depression. My doctor suggested i start taking "celexa".It has worked wonders for my depression and its made me a heck of a lot more peppy through out the day.Maybe thats not your problem at all though,it was just a suggestion.Did you ever think that maybe your doing a little too much, pushing yourself a little too hard? Are you way over weight, modestly over weight or not over weight at all? Maybe you think your over weight but your really not at all.Be honest with yourself.Do you really need the weight watchers?Maybe your not eating the right foods with the sufficiant amount of viatamins them. What does your sleep schedule look like?Eight hours of sleep is about what you should get.Any more or any less can be a problem for a lot of people. The list goes on and on....I could think of a billion different reasons why you feel exausted but i dont know you.Its hard to diagnose something like that without talking to you,but those are a few ideas to think about if you already havnt.Well, good luck.I hope you feel better soon!

Are you resting or just sleeping? There is quite a big difference. When you go to bed, do you go to sleep immediately? During the night, do you wake frequently? When you get up in the AM, are the covers a mess from tossing and turning? Do you have a bed partner? do they snore, toss and turn or otherwise disturb your sleep. Have you had a thorough physical with routine chemistry and maybe a thyroid test? Any 'post-nasal-drip' or allergies? (Some people take Benedril type product at bedtime.) Could you be a bit depressed? Consider these things and go from there. All best wishes!

Maybe walking and turbo jam and stuff is tiering you out. You also may be getting TOO much sleep? Possible? YES! When you sleep for long periods of time, your body goes deeper and deeper into the sleep. When you get really deep sleep, your body doesn't want to get out of that, so even when you are awake, your body is still in the sleeping mode. Get 8 hours of sleep a night, not to much more, that may help. Wieght watchers and doing all that stuff? Your not getting enough calories to fuel that. Eat more! Have a few snacks between meals and see if that helps, but keep up everything else

Go to the Doctor's, get some blood work done. I was having some of the same problems and I just found out it may be hypothyroidism. I am waiting for the results on my bloodwork. It could be many different things, a doc should be able to help you figure it out.
On a lighter note, isn't turbo jam great?! I have it too.

Get 8 hours of sleep every night by going to bed and waking up at the same times every day, even Saturday and Sunday.

Take iron supplements, as well as a multivitamin, daily.

Eat fewer processed foods and prepared meals and eat lots of lean red meat, chicken, fish and fresh vegetables and fruits of all colors every day. Your body will get used to eating things that are truly good for you and actually crave them. Stay far away from anything with white sugar or flour, especially in the afternoon, when your energy lags anyway. Drink water and not diet drinks as your body will crave sweets from the taste and soda causes bloating.

Best of luck to you! Seems like you're doing yourself a lot of good!

The only thing zzzzz didn't mention was depression, rather than come here see a doctor.I received a negative and a positive so I read zzzzzs' question again and saw that depression was mentioned. The only thing you need to do is see a doctor because even if you went to bed 5 hours earlier it still wouldn't make a difference.

countinue walking, if you can physically try some cardio (3 times per week, for about 30-40 min). there should ba a lot of different classes going on in your area, such as: spin, body pump, aroebics, even some yoga. also that wouold give you a good chance to meet people.
also sounds like you're working on your nutriton a bit, i would try to cut back on diary for a couple of days and see how you feel.

Have you tried vitamins? I take multi-vitamins and vitamin B12. They seem to help with energy. Also try eating things with potasium like bananas.
