Before we got married, me and my husband had major blow-outs about this particular girl he had been messing around for years. Actually I found out that she was his security blanket for whenever his past relationships didn't work-out. When he met me and we started dating he still was afraid to close the doors with this girl and kept her waiting on the back-burner. So how come now he can cease all contact with her now that's he married. He said she hasn't called him since we been married. He claims he doesn't know if she knows he is married or not. I wonder if there's more to this story?

He married you though didn't he? Who cares if this girl knows if he's married or not. He knows he's married I think that it's time that you both move on from this girl or it could mean the end of your relationship.

You became his new security blanket. When in doubt try and contact this girl, if she has any respect at all she will tell you the truth... or lie to get you away from him.

it seems to me he's like a kid without a teddy bear. like when you grow up and can't find that toy you use to have all the time when you couldn't sleep at night. he's worried that if he loses his "teddy" he'll have nothing to fall back on. but she must've found out about the marriage and was grown up enough to step out of the picture knowing that since he's married he must not need her anymore.

People have been known to change but from what you've said I would be alittle apprehensive. Women have that inner intuition, so if anything seems funny, you'll know. Much success.

Don't borrow trouble! Maybe you have a sincere, honest husband that deserves to be trusted. Trust him and forget about her - looks like he has!

maybe he is secure now. if you suspect something then trust your instincts. but if your just wondering then give him the benefit of the doubt and don't bring up anything unneccesarily.
