I had a longtime friend that started becoming a better friend and flirting with me. She wanted me to feel free to share everything with her, but she denies liking me. I told her I could not date at that time, but I told her lately that I had a change of heart and needed to speak to her. She was open to hearing "everything and anything" because "good friends want to know what their friends are going through" according to her email. What is she expecting to hear from me??

Emails are hard to decode because you can't see their facial expressions or hear the tone of their voice. If you told her you had a change of heart she may be expecting to hear how much you like her. I would suggest being honest with your feelings and you might want to consider a face to face conversation or (if it's a long distance thing) a phone call. Good luck.

Who knows?! The only way to find out is to talk with her. Wouldn't she be surprised if you showed up with flowers, candy or a nice gift the next time you visit?! You're aware she's flirting, you're already good friends, it should like the perfect opportunity to start dating. It all starts with friendship anyway--at least the good relationships do. Respond to the e-mail explaining how you would like to talk over .. coffee, tea, or dinner. if you are looking for a less public setting, set it up at your place. don't put much effort into it, just a simple excuse of pizza and a movie or just pop-corn in a movie, let your heart lead you.
Start the convo off slowly asking her thoughts. then insert yours as needed.sometimes there is more to our side and there might be more to hers. just feel her out. take things from there. after all who knows her best... her best friend....

Well...you have to be ABSOLUTLY positive hses flirting...or just being friendly...thats the first part..if she is flirting with u...shes lieing to you obviosuly....but go ahead..tell her everything and anything...see how she reacts...then ull kno for sure..i dont think shes looking for anything imparticular...but if u like her..hint towards it...if u dont...talk about other things do what u need 2 do

she probably wants or hopes to hear that you have feelings for her,or that your the one who brings it up first or she may be playing the role of :good friends want to know what their friends are going through,and that's all that is in it.

Tell the truth. its her problem that she is denying liking you, not yours. dont tell her what she want to hear tell her the truth and talk in person so you can see her face expressions
