First, I can get a lawyer to help me fight this expulsion and ticket for tresspassing that I received at school, right? I really just want the expulsion dropped because I DO NOT want to go to behavior school, what I did was wrong, but I have to admit, it was nothing to what some of these kids do in school and they only get inhouse suspension.. I didn't cuss, I didn't hit, I didn't threaten, all I said was "So are you and Ms.Es [girl dean] dating? How long yall been dating for?" and before I said that, he was already so angry [they were trying to suspend me and when I questioned why, he just said 'get off my property or Im gonna have you arrested', I honestly thought he was gonna hit me, and after I said that, I thought he was gonna kill me! He was fuming.. and yeah, this is why I got expelled.. can I get a lawyer or attorney or somebody to help me fight this expulsion? I think this is bull. Also, do I have to go to behavior school if my mom says she doesn't want me going?? 10 points.

Are there any lawyers or attorneys that I can get for free? I don't have that kind of money. To the last person, I have been in trouble MANY times before with the school.. everything from suspension to inhouse.. but never expulsion..

Sure, you can get an attorney to fight this for you. They will probably charge you about $200 per hour. Probably the final charge will be over $1,000. A few attorneys might be cheaper. Some attorneys have free consultation so try those first. Get your mother to talk to them for you so they know that you are serious.

Good luck.

Well you must have a history with this guy and pulling a bad attitude.....also i think you have a history of behavorial problems and that disrespectful comment was probably the last straw. If that truly was the only thing you have done (which i doubt) then yes you could probably find a lawyer to dump money into and go after the school. But they have lawyers too, whitnesses, and your past history and records to go on. But according to you Your record should be clean before this incident, and if you have good grades etc for when you go to court that will look better to a judge/.

You know they have the NO CHILD LEFT BEHIND LAW now and if all you did was maybe be a little disrespectful them you should go and apolagize but also let some one know that he is doing this and he scares you. They have no right to kick you out unless you have done other things. You can get a legal aid lawyer to help you out on this. Calll your local Department of family and children service and ask for the 1 800 number. Talk to someone and they can help you out.
