i have been calling my boyfriend for two days and he didn't pick up his phone but when he did another girl picked up and when i asked who she was he couldn't tell me. what does this mean? iS HE CHEATING ON ME?

Highly probable, unless something devestating has happened in his personal life and that was a relative. Suggestions: Call him back and ask him for honest answers. If he is unwilling to explain his out-of-the-ordinary actions then I would be suspicious. If he refuses to pick up again and puts you straight to voicemail, I would leave a message simply stating: "I don't know what is going on, but as your girlfriend it would be nice to know."
Be nice because it might be something serious. If not and he is cheating, don't worry about it, move on, because there is too many men to worry over one who isn't willing to be mature and honest.

No, I am sure he has been in a comma and the girl that picked up the phone was a nurse at the hospital.

First of all, stop being so paranoid. If In fact he was NOT cheating on you, and you get all paranoid in front of him, its going to show a lot about your character. I wouldn't want to be with someone who will flip out every time someone else answers his phone. Just casually ask him who it was.

The best course of action is to sit down and talk to him.
The basis of a good relationship should be communication. If he can't communicate with you, it doesn't matter if he cheated or not, there's no future there.

Facing and ask him and even though he's going to denial it you go ahead with the investigation. Also try to find out who's the girl and also talk to her ,,, but you have to make your own decision about leaving him,, if I was you I will not trust him again and send him flying. Good luck!!

Take a break, take a break, do not draw any lesson from it right now, she may be his relative, just friend or sister etc.First talk to him, if he gives you good and substantial answers related to that girl then it is ok,but if he look nervous and hesitant then he is lying & he is a cheater.

It's a great possibility that he is. I would definitely try my hardest to find out and even if he's not, he can't talk to you for 2 days. What's up with that? I don't think he appreciates you. Get rid of him!
