Can anyone think of a rhyme to help me remeber the French verb devoir, when it is in the 'je' form, 'tu' form, 'il/elle/on' form etc because Im hopeless at simply memorising it just from the list, and I can't think of a good rhyme! Really appreciate any help ? x

Most verbs can be sung to:
Hernando's Hideaway
Mexican Hat Dance
Twinkle Twinkle Little star...
and most other children's rhyme songs.
Just sing the verb! (sometimes you'll need both il and elle and ils and elles, sometimes just il and ils, depending on the beat of the music.
You can also make up a rhythm and chant it.

In spoken French, it's quite easy. Je/tu/il/ are all pronounced [dwa] even though they're spelt dois, doit. Nous devons, vous devez, ils doivent. Sorry - can't think of a rhyme, but it's not so irregular.

Je veux te voir ce soir
Je veux danser ce soir
Je veux te dire une dernière fois
Combien tu comptes pour moi

You could substitute "peux".

My old French teacher used to rhyme them with kids songs. Like for one she used The Ants go marching in. You could try something like that.

Your sentence is authentic ! the present stressful conjugation of "devoir" is: je dois nous devons tu dois vous deves il/elle/on doit ils/elles doivent "Devoir" is used to particular a could do something, imperatively. to illustrate, "i could..." or "I could...". given which you conjugate "devoir" to in good shape your situation, the verb following the form of devoir keeps to be in infinitive variety. sturdy success on your French learn ! :)
