Of course they can as long as it's ice cubes you made. Never heard of a vet saying they can't. My dog goes crazy for ice cubes. Just don't let them eat ice from outside just incase there's rock salt on it or other possible toxins.

my pup LOVES ice. my mom keeps saying its going to break her teeth, but my bf chews ice too and has never had a problem. our dog even knows the sound of the in-door ice dispenser and comes running for her cube

Absolutely! My dog loves ice anytime. I usually will give it to her in the summer to help her cool off.

Yes, it's a healthy alternative to "junk food" treats. You may even use diluted unsalted chicken or beef broth to add some flavor to the ice cubes.

Yes, it's a great treat for a hot day or for a teething puppy! Fun to watch them play with it and try to get it too!
You might not want to give it to an older dog though, they tend to have problems with their teeth and can have pain due to the sensitivity to the cold.

My dog loves ice. one of her favorite treats. Its only frozen water so I see no harm.

Giving them too much ice can cause them to bite tongues, lips etc. keep it to moderation

if your dog likes ice, he will love doggie ice cream...its called frosty paws, when I ask my dog if she wants ice cream, she starts licking her chops...lol
