My boyfriend is always high or drunk..And I love him to death when he's sober and I'm trying so hard to help him..and I feel so bad when I say he only brings me down. But I dragged my own *** to rehab and got off ice alone without his help..but he's always at the house comin home with drugs or high..And he shoots up in our bedroom! i have to walk around with syringes and used cans and **** all over the hosue..He refuses to go to rehab so what can I do to help him??

The best thing to do is to leave him and then in his own time when he realizes what drugs are doing 2 him he will push himself to get clean. I know you may love him but if you love him enough then you will let him go to get better and hopefully he will realize what he has lost and what he has to do to get you back. Good luck

you can't help someone that don't want help. if you cleaned yourself up then he should do the same. he should want to do it because he loves himself as well as you. i would say walk away before he drags you back in the dumps. relationships are hard enough without drugs and when you add flame to the fire it just adds more and more stress. it'sad that some ppl can't see the light on going to rehab but people will do things to you that you allow them to do. if you really love this man then tell him he has to quite or he will lose you. support him either way but always protect yourself. you can only **** your own life up and never give someone so much power. good luck with this horrible situation.
personal experience: my father was an addict and he beat my mother, did nasty things to his children and other children, We had everything taken away from us because he was a **** up. he has been out of my life since i was 2 i am now 23 and happy to know that he is long gone. sad to say that i didn't learn much about men threw him just on my own experiences. he is still til this day a user but he is with someone who is one as well. so ask yourself do you want to use for ever and is he worth your unhappiness and health? in no time you will have the right answer no matter how hard or easy it is you will heal from this but he will not.

Her is how you help a drug addict LEAVE HIM! I dated a guy who did drugs and only brought me down. he would say he was going to stop and all of that but he would go right back to using. Leaving him was the best thing I could ever do. Besides he's shooting up are you not worried about Aids? If he truly loves you give him an ultimatum. Tell him your dumping him if he goes to rehab and gets clean you will consider getting back with him. If he loves you he will do it if he loves the drugs he will keep doing them and honestly do you really want to be second choice over drugs, go to counseling and leave him.

If all else fails I would turn him into the police. He will spend some time in jail but he will be forced to go to rehab.
