Seems like something a little kid does with sand castles or something. He wanted it perfect, then something happened that cause it to not be perfect, so he decided to tear it down and try to make it perfect again. God is like the little kid, and we and earth are the sand castle.

fireball, unless you plan on contributing to society and actually using the gift you claim God gave you, your answers hold no credibility.

Dying: Relax, God did not create us just to destoy us because of sin. That concept went out with the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross. Its safe to go back to the beach my friend. MG

Someday you will bow to the Lord and confess His name, I just pray it will not be on judgment day, when it is too late for you to be saved by his wonderful Son Jesus Christ---for God has given us a free gift of salvation and He did not have to. He MADE YOU! He loves us that much to make a way for us to be with him forever, because He is sinless, and Holy and Heaven is holy and no sin is allowed and sin separates man from God---but God made a way for us to be cleansed, through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, for only God can defeat death- and through that when we believe, we are given life, eternal life with Him!
We are to fear the Lord, a reverant and HOLY fear- not that of how we fear men on earth, or murderers--God is GOOD, and JUST and RIGHTEOUS. And His ways are not our ways nor His thoughts our thoughts as Isaiah says. He holds OUR breath in HIS hands. We do not deserve heaven- we deserve hell for our sin. Sin is awful! People need to know the seriousness of sin- and the consequences. When he destroyed the earth, he cleansed it also- and the rainbow is a sign that he will never do that again. Just as the Bible says. So remember that, God is a God of mercy! He is merciful right now, and look at how many people blasphemy His name and deny Him.....and yet God is so merciful right now. But the day will come when that will not be anymore- and everyone will stand before him in judgment. Doesn't that concern you?

He destroys the earth and will because he will teach the unbelievers and wicked people a lesson and punishment. God is like a parent punishing his own child.

Kids do this and not adults? If you built a house and a tornado came and trashed it, would you not rebuild it? Even if it means you have to level it and start over? You know you wont inhabit this house while its torn up... you will either rebuild it or abandon it... God chooses not to abandon the Earth.

I like the "kid with a magnifying glass playing with his ant farm" analogy more. And they wonder why we want nothing to do with their god...

PS. To our dear friends the christians, did your mom not teach you that you can't take a gift that was freely given back? If god gave us life, it makes it rather petty and cruel of him to demand it back if we don't use it in the way he envisioned, don't you think?

It seems like it's the people destroying themselves, not god destroying them.

Like on yahoo! news, where the moved the Doomsday Clock closer to midnight. There are more chances of people destroying themselves with nuclear warfare or continuing to exploit the environment and cause global warming..

While there's always the idea of some gigantic asteroid killing everyone.. it hasn't happened to US yet, so who cares?

Why not?

Are you God?

Who are you to judge the creator of the universe?

I'd jump on and cling to God while he's destroying that sand castle, wouldn't you?

:)

There was no sin when the world was first created. There is nothing wrong with education, try it out.

It is like a gardener or like a farmer, you plant a crop, watch it grow, seperate the wheat from the weeds, then burn the weeds so they dont return.
