My friend got mad at me for some stupid things and was practically trying to turn the world against me...so instead of arguing I made my point by altering her Myspace page...I just deleted things off of it (did NOT delete the account). I was able to do this because 2 weeks prior she gave me her password to log her in when she is over here so she doesnt have to deal with my security stuff on my PC. Then she saved her password to my Pc as well. Now she is claiming she is going to call the police or already has and they supposedly told her they can trace it and are going to arrest me. I believe she is outta her mind. I might get my account deleted but that;s no big deal. Can someone help me out so I can set her right...or maybe myself? LOL Thanks guys

well for one how can you have made a crininal act if she gave you her password. Hey it's her problem. She shouldn't give her password to anybody. And if the cops happen to come to question you. Just tell them this" YEs I went into her myspace profile but she gave me her password, so how am I breaking the law" Then they will tell you if she really gave you her password and say YEs and that's the end of it. And make sure not to mess with anything of her's anymore

TECHNICALLY it is a felony to deface or change a web page. TECHNICALLY it is ANOTHER felony to use a computer to commit a crime (such as changing a web page!). The local law enforcement could double whammy you...will they? Highly unlikley. As for the person that stated "You gave her your password, your ok"..imagine this....you loan your ATM card out and give your friend your PIN so they can withdraw 20 bucks for you. 2 weeks later they clean your account out without your permission. Do you think a crime has been committed? The answer is both cases....is yes. You can provide the password and approval for someone to do something but that doesn't mean they stated "go ahead and log on anytime" or "go ahead and withdraw money anytime". Grow up and stop changing your friend..or former friends site. It would also be another crime and possible civil suit if you slandered your friend and posted things that were not so flattering. Truely it would depend on how bad you screwed up her page and pissed her off. Heck, if she is young enough her parents might be pissed and file against you!

How old are you girls 9 ? You can't file criminal charges for something as retarded as that. Cops have better things to do like help solve murders not who deleted some info on myspace. But she could report you to Tom.

Harden can't sue Artest because i believe there are regulations or regulations in position that allow human beings to hit one yet another interior the approach a interest. Take boxing for instance. Hollyfield by no ability sued Tyson for biting his ear off. develop develop mancini by no ability went to reformatory and he killed some one interior the hoop. once you signal a freelance with a activities team you provide up the rights to sue different gamers for injuries sustained even as playing the interest. because Artest hit Harden on the floor for the period of a interest, Harden can't sue Artest although the League does have the right to take action adverse to Artest to droop him besides as provide him a very good.

dont know -
i dont think that a precedence has been set...read the myspace terms of service.

Ask yourself this though - is it worth the time and effort (not to mention money) for someone to pursue that? I doubt it.
You wont even get your account deleted.
