i was filling out an application when i came across the question "are you a new york state resident"
i live in the bronx
i feel like theres such a difference in living between the 2 places that people consider them different things.
so what should i put, that i AM a new york state resident?

sure because the Bronx is in NYS. Miami is very different from Lake Ida, but because they are both in Florida, people from both places are Floridians.

The Bronx is not a State, it is a boro of New York City. New York City is not a State, it is a huge City. New York State is the State that New York City is in.

The Bronx is very different from Eastern Long Island, or around Buffalo or Albany. But all these regions are part of New York State. You all share the same license plates and State Government.

So yes, you ARE a resident of New York State.

There is a difference between living in the Bronx and IN NY State? Really? The Bronx is part of the state. OF COURSE YOU ARE A STATE RESIDENT.
