i would tell him that babies are made when 2 people love each other very much and that the daddy's seed has got to mummy's little eggs in her tummy to start making the baby. If he asks how, say when mummy and daddy make love. you'll probably find that that explaination is good enough for a kid! i'd say it takes a long time for the baby to grow so they are best kept safe inside until the baby is strong and big enough to be born. I'd dwell on the baby growing part at that age and not too much on the seed part but it's best to give it to them plainly. it doesn't have to be explicit but hoesty is definately the best policy. good luck.

Honesty is the best policy. You tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. How else will he ever learn the truth?
If you feel awkward telling him Usbornes publish a very good book called the Facts of Life. This will probably be available from libraries if you cannot afford to purchase a copy. As parents we also have to 'guide' our children, that is, to teach them the truth.

Tell him the truth. There are books that you can buy to read together about it. Seven years old is old enough to understand about sperm and eggs. It's not necessary to go into graphic detail. It's a good chance to teach your son about boys and girls, and also give you a chance to discuss that it's not okay for someone to be touching "down there" too. Don't baby him or tell him a silly story (like the stork), it will just confuse him.

To a 7 year previous, i could say that interior the catholic faith, some women purely % to serve God, and % to assist others. they don't get married because of the fact they % to apply all their time to assist their church. They positioned on specific outfits so they don't attempt to be too fancy or too distinctive from the different nuns. for many nuns, this could be a impressive life because of the fact they are completely cared for with their very own room, get right of entry to to each thing interior the convent, and those women are oftentimes very knowledgeable and proficient, play track, do many solid issues.

In my opinion it's best to be honest. In the old days nobody used this stork garbage or whatnot. The human body is nothing to be ashamed of, and those who know early are less likely to fall into problems.

I told my kids at that age that when Mommies and Daddies get married and want a baby, the love they feel for eachother makes one. The rest of the facts they seem to figure out themselves or learn in school for some reason but that happens later LOL

You have to be totally honest! At that age they're not too embarrassed so just sit him down and explain. You may be able to get a book from a kids' bookstore to help.

My 8 yr old knows where babies come from. He doesn't know the details of how they get inside mommy. I told him the truth when he asked because he is asking because he has probably seen something on tv (oxygen channel or TLC) there is nothing nasty about this. You don't have to have the talk yet but just tell the truth.
