About 80% are just lazy. The rest are legitimate. I know several men healthier than me that have suffered less pain that are getting some disability and working where I worked. My wife is disabled from stroke and cancer recovery. It is hard to discriminate without hearing the whole story. I am disabled because I "ain't too quick"

The system itself makes no sense to me. I know people who are honestly disabled and can not get any help. They are told go find a job that you can do with your disability, because it is illegal to discriminate. Then I know others that cry, "oh my knee" and they have disability in no time.
So basically it depends on the person.
Some I feel just bad for.
Some I feel I wish I could help
Some I feel are lazy.
Some I feel have accomplished a lot dispute their disability

Some genuinely are disabled and do need the aid. Others are just doing their darndest to get free rides, so to speak. I know several of both.
