And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it

The Bible says that angels roled away the stone. That being said, Jesus didn't need anybody to help Him because He had the power to move whatever He needed to move. The Bible teaches about faith being able to move mountains. Jesus was beyond faith, He had perfect knowledge of God's power and whatever He said would be done. The reason for that is because all things have spirit matter in them. There is spirit in and through all things. Thus, when God, or His representatives, speaks, the elements and the spirit that is in them must respond and obey. That is the power by which Moses took the Israelites through the Red Sea on dry ground. That is the power by which Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead. That is the power by which all the miracles were performed. Thus, Jesus need only to have said, "be moved" and it would have been done.

Suspending reality for a moment and accepting that the event actually happened, the fact is that the stone wouldn't have been that big. The stones that were used to seal the entry to burial chambers in that region, at that time, were approximately 2' x 2' x 4". Artists and Hollywood have greatly exaggerated the size and christians, most of whom have gained their understanding of their theology from songs, pictures and movies accept the misrepresentation as fact.

He didn't. Matthew 28:2-4 it is reported, "There was a violent earthquake, for an angel of the Lord came down from heaven and going to the tomb, rolled back the stone and sat on it. ...The guards were so afraid of him that they shook and became like dead men."

OK, if Jesus, died a brutal death on the cross and came back to life and ascended into Heaven, do you not think He could move a rock. All, the miracles He performed, of healing, walking on water, moving a rock would be simple.

Well, if one toys with the idea that Jesus might have been a Bodhisattva or buddha, it'd just be a matter of mind OVER matter.

According to Biblical account, an angel rolled the stone out of the way.
