He probably likes the warmth of you, or just wants to be with you when you sleep. It's a pretty normal thing. Not all dogs are the same. If it's a nuisance, train him to stay at the foot of the bed by putting, maybe, it's favorite blanket there and a treat, and reward him when he stays. Positive reinforcement is always best!

My dog does it all the time. We asked the vet about it and he told us that it gives her some kinda sense that she is protecting me. Usually after i fall asleep she ends up going under the covers to the foot of the bed. Both my dogs think there suppose to be cuddle like there teddy bears or something and strangely that completely normal too. If you don't want your dog on the same pillow you could try what i do. Put another pillow next to yours and pat it letting the dog know thats where you want it. Works everytime with my dog. Luckily I only have the one that does it otherwise they would fight over the extra pillow. Good luck!

My dog used to sleep with his head on the pillow. Some dogs just think they're human.

My dogs sleeps at the same time with his head propped ou hostile to the chilly are go back sign in - on my feet - on between the relations cats - over the foot base of the upright piano - hostile to the back door. He doesn't care as long as his head is better quite. the only and in reality time he has ever snuck into my mattress he laid out flat and in no way disturbed me in the slightest through the undeniable fact that would want to have had him kicked to the floor the position he belongs.

It's totally normal.......my dog does the exact same thing ! Sometimes, it gets annoying, though, because he tends to spread out when he sleeps & takes over most of my pillow ! *lol* I'm not sure as to the exact reason for it, but, I like to think that it's a combination of staying warm & likeing to be close to their master.

awww he loves you!!! He probably see you and wants to sleep like you too. Its like some dogs arent allowed on the bed. And when they see you on the bed they want to be up there too. You need to train him. Everytime he does that put him at the end of the bed. If he keeps doing it set him on the floor and dont let him up on the bed. If he cant follow the rules he cant be on the bed. Then he'll realize thats the only way hes allowed on the bed so maybe he'll start staying where you want him too.

I dunno about dogs, my dog used to always sleep at my feet or under the blankets. But my cat used to sleep on top of my pillow and would kick me in the head every night. I finally got sick of this and get him his own pillow and put it on the other side of the bed and after I put him on it a couple of times he fianlly realized that he could sleep over there instead.

Maybe it is maybe it's not. But that's disgusting. Your face next to your dogs a**. Don't let your dog sleep on your pillows or anything that touches your face. It might be cute to sleep with your dog but dogs have fecal matter that could get on you and also has bateria that can make humans sick.
