They are both worn on the same left ring finger...the bride gets one when her fiance proposes and then another when they are actually married.

When you have that special someone and want to ask her to marry you...you should have an engagement ring ( not sure of the size try on a ring she has and remember where it fits on your finger...hehe sneaky) Then once you set a date you can both decide on a wedding band. Some come with both engagement and band. Some people also shop together for the whole set and she may get both but will not wear the wedding band till the special day. Yes both are worn together on the left ring finger.

An engagement ring is worn on the right hand and the wedding ring on the left. You can use the engagement ring also as the wedding ring. When you are proposed to, you will let your boyfriend put the ring on the fourth finger of the right hand. When you get married, he will switch the ring to the left hand. Good luck!

typically yes a bride has both an engagement ring and wedding ring, both worn on the left ring finger. the engagement ring is usually worn throughout the ceremony, and the wedding ring is placed on with it when there is an exchanging of rings. sometimes people get the two rings saudered (sp?) together to make it one, in which case it would still be left off until the exchanging of the rings during the ceremony (unless of course you get the rings saudered together after you are married). of course, an engagement ring is not a requirement, but it is very common.

Traditionally in the US anyway the bride does have two rings...an engagement ring and a wedding band. They can be a "set" or purchased separately. It depends on your budget and personal tastes. Yes, they are both worn on your left hand, third finger. Again, traditionally you put your engagement ring on your right hand during the wedding ceremony and then put your engagement ring back on your left hand after you receive your wedding band.

I have two rings, my engagment ring fits inside of my wedding band. You can do it different ways. Buy an engagment ring and then buy a wedding band or wrap or just buy a wedding ring set. You give the engagment ring first when you propose and then you give her the wedding band on the wedding day. The wedding band goes on first (meaning behind it is that: that artery(?) goes directly to the heart) After the wedding date she wears both rings on the left hand ring finger.

Yes! There is an engagement ring and a wedding band. The engagement ring goes ontop of the band.

it's different for everyone. for those that wear both engagement and wedding rings, they wear both on the left ring finger, with the wedding band "closest to the heart". but there are many women who choose to wear only a wedding band.

You really don't need an engagement ring (I don't have one). If you do have both, they are both worn on the same finger, engagement ring first.
