A recent poll finds 25% of the US population expects the world to end this year, with Jesus coming back to save them in THE RAPTURE.
Well dudes, I'm an atheist, so will I just get to squeak by, along with my other 4 billion friends here who don't believe in your curiously cute guy, who wore a toga and hung out with his close, very close buddies in the desert, drinking wine and whatever?

The bible says nobody knows that day nor the hour when Jesus shall return. (Matthew 25:13) People believe he is coming back this year beacause this is 2007 seven is the number of God. On the seventh Day God rested (Genesis 2:2)

Well, those 25% might or might not be wrong. However, the Bible says that not even Jesus know when the Rapture will be, only the Father knows, and then He'll send His Son.
But if you want to prepare for the rapture, then you need to accept Christ as your Savior...that is, if you want to be saved. If you don't, then go on as normal, but if the rapture happens while you're still alive, don't complain that no one ever told you of the truth.
God bless.

Gospel According to Saint Matthew
Chapter 6
33 Seek ye therefore first the kingdom of God, and his justice, and all these things shall be added unto you.
34 Be not therefore solicitous for tomorrow; for the morrow will be solicitous for itself. Sufficient for the day is the evil thereof.
The origins of the doctrine of the rapture are hotly debated. The Orthodox, mainline Protestant, and Roman Catholic churches (which represent the majority of Christians worldwide) have no tradition of such a teaching and reject the doctrine, in part because they cannot find any reference to it among any of the early Church fathers and in part because they do not interpret the scriptures the way that Rapture-believers do.

Prepare for the Rapture? You better prepare for the time AFTER the Rapture. I'd reccomend that when you wake up, and all the Christians are gone, you go get a Bible and read it. Then decide where you want to spend eternity.

I agree 1000%- Too many people put far to much energy in something that really has no use in our physical realm of earth. Live for the now and stop worrying about things you'll never know

Find out all you can about the Rapture because you are going to need all the help you can if you don't seek God now before His return.
