"thou shall not kill" (Exodus 20:13; Deuteronomy 5:17),

Jesus amplifies the meaning of the sixth commandment. He brings out that to commit murder means more then just killing someone, it means having an angry and unforgiving attitude towards them. The apostle John elaborates on this by writing that to hate someone is the same as murdering them (1 John 3:15).

I don't know of any religious groups that do not fight in war. It is sad isn't it ! Man doesn't see the destruction it is doing to it self !! I guess all we can do is not choose to do it ourselves. AMEN

Jehovahs Witnesses do NOT go to war, nor have we fought in war. We do not take sides in war. Rather we practice love. True worshippers are “no part of the world,” are not divided by race or culture, and display ‘love among themselves.’ (John 13:35; 17:16; Acts 10:34, 35) Rather than killing one another, they are willing to die for one another.—1 John 3:16.

I believe that no Shakers have fought in wars.

You are misquoting the Bible -- it prohibits murder, not killing. Given that God had just OK'd the death of the first born of every Egyptian family before giving Moses the Ten Commandments, saying that you cannot kill would have been just a little hypocritical.

Jainists don't fight EVER, they actually sweep the paths in front of them and wear cloth over thier mouths so they won't breathe in or step on any bugs. They practice complete "Ahimsa" which means non-violence.
