they're too selfish to understand your question, it's all about them receiving everlasting life, they have no understanding of caring or valuing this life and what other people go through, unless it involves them doing it to better their chances of their own personal reward.

First you have to know what the "ultimate" Christian sacrifice is. That was Jesus Christ being beaten beyond recognition, being spit on, being nailed to a cross, death, burried in another man's grave, then being risen from the grave on the third day. He did that to save your soul from hell, and only he could do it, no one else can. A true friend is one who would lay down his life to save another. There is a difference. Both are in the Bible. Oh, to answer your question, the ultimate Christian sacrifice is Obedience to God.

Once you are saved you can't undo it. You are sealed forever. How would blasphemeing the Holy Spirit bring someone closer to salvation, wouldn't it push them further away? In a nutshell your question is impossible.
Good Luck in the end, I hope it works out for you.

I've thought about that before. I once had a dream that my un-saved best friend went to hell and I did just that. I woke up in absolute sorrow. Sacrificing my salvation.
But... the word says that NOTHING can take that away from us! (woot). Nothing can take it away.. and we cannot give salvation to people, that's God's gift, it belongs to him and he gives it freely to those that seek it.
As for laying down my life on Earth for someone, I wouldn't hesitate. I'd rather see my self in heaven and an athiest on Earth then myself of Earth and an Athiest in hell.

Sacrificing ones "salvation for the salvation of another" is not the ultimate Christian sacrifice. Noone, including Jesus, has ever sacrificed their eternal salvation for another. Christ sacrificed His physical life but not eternal salvation.

Salvation isn't yours to give, it belongs to God.
Accordingly, you could never sacrifice it.

For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.

If they did, god would presumably know what they were doing and reward them - if he was a good god.
