I would suggest that it's probably because they are minority groups who generally need representation. Perhaps, and most likely, they have been the subject of racial abuse in the past and feel like they need to build a community for strength and protection. It's true that they do seem to evoke feelings of exclusion in the wider community of people but as "a white" i cant really argue because I've never personally felt like my race has ever been the cause of any danger in my life.
I think the KKK has also put a big negative on the whole "white organization" thing, the idea of a white organization is associated with the idea of racism. that's why people think - white organization = racists.
I don't mind not belonging to a white organization, in my opinion, we don't need representing.

There are many white ethnic groups that have organizations - Italian Americans, German Americans. Just not the white race as a whole. There was one, but they got a really bad reputation.

There are lots of organizations built around groups of white people. For example, there is The Sons of St Patrick, The Sons of Norway, the Sons of Italy, and the Republican Party.

please dont take our organizations away too. Because white people are too bussy trying to run the world and conquer little countries using American propaganda taking their resources away. white people are too bussy dealing with big problems wich are politics and decicion making. Sending us the minorities to war like on Fahrenheit 9/11 Michael Moore was doing a poll asking people who worked in congress if their kids wanted to join the armed forces or if they were already enrolled but thats a whole different story..

point is stop trying to take everything away from us the minority and focuse on your big problems to conquer the world..

One more thing i live in California so there a group along the border of the U.S and Mexico called Minute men. They shoot, capture, and kill Immigrants for traspassing.. This is why we dont want White organizations because they have bad history first with the KKK and now Minute men. So less white organizations is the best thing to do. While minoritie groups are not racist they tend to help their own people. And more holidays because we tend to have more culture..

Proud Mexican Girl =o)

It would be ok... except that most white organizations are hate-spreading and very non-equal rights. Most other groups promote equality and working together with other ethnic groups (although like everything else there are always the bad apples).

"White people" can do whatever they want. Why not have Irish clubs or a British club? Latinos and African-American's don't build organizations based on their color. It's based on race and etchnicity, that's why it's not okay to have a White Power organization.

Ummm..you can build any organization you want.

Most organizations built around "white people" have agendas that are about more than that, however. They usually have some sort of entitlement agenda, or imagined persecution....

so....you can organize it, but that doesn't mean that most people are goign to take it seriously.

Because white people are stronger than to have to rely on race to use as an excuse to get a leg up. We work for what we have. We (mostly) don't abuse public systems like welfare and public health clinics. We don't file frivolous lawsuits based on false accusations about racial treatment. We are just better than that and don't need "white" organizations.

Because alot of minorities are hypocritical. You can't have the NAAWP (National Association for the Advancement of White People) but you can give minorities every chance in the world to succeed. Minorities have lower standards to get into college, jobs, and social programs. I believe everyone should be equal, despite their race or beliefs.

I don't think we should glorify races no More than hate them. We are people. Skin says nothing culture says nothing. We should not be recognized as a geographical location. We are individuals and should be recognized as only individuals.

However there are positive white groups such as white people scholarships. White people are poor too.
