It's natural to be curious about your biological parents, however it must be hard to miss somebody you never knew. Your real parents are the ones who brought you up. Lots of adopted people managed to renew contact with their biological families but it isn't always a positive experience so think careful before you take that route.

Well, If you are a teenager, your normal! No teenager feels like they belong. Yours maybe a little different, but in reality not so much. I just hope your not trying to use this adoption thing to justify you own typical teenage raging emotional changes and personal growth. You should stop being so selfish. You adopted parents choose you. They did not HAVE you, they CHOOSE you and at the age of 3 1/2 they could have had a lot of choices. You should have a curiosity's of where you biologically came from, but to say you do not belong where you are now, is hurtful to those who have been there for you, when your bio parents could not be. So, I hope you rethink the issues behind your feelings, because I think they stem from something far more then feeling miss placed.

Its natural to wonder what they are like and who they were.
However I must tell you that we all go through a stage in our lives where we wonder "what is our purpose or how come I just don't feel like I belong, I am so different"

We are all different....we are all unique....and thank goodness...what a boring world it would be if we were all the same......
How lucky you are to have parents that chose you for being "YOU"........that is such a blessing.

I don't know what to tell you about finding your parents.....You could start with your birth place and go from there.
I do hope that you are including your parents that have adopted you....and also taking their feelings into consideration.

Best wishes....
