Christian views on Mary are quite similar to Muslim views. The Sura Mary is quite compatible with the Christian view of her, except that this Sura never mentions that she took a husband named Joseph.

We believe she is a great saint, the most favoured of women, and that through her submission to God, she points the way to God, through her son.

Depends upon whom you ask.
Some argue that she was no more special then an average person.
Others would argue that she occupies a place in the Christian religion roughly equivalent to Muhammad (pbuh) Not to imply that Muhammad (pbuh) had equal, rather that for some Christan's Mary occupies a place above the lesser prophets (saints), second to only God. (On par with Saint Peter)
The principal belief is that Mary, Mother of God
1.Lived a truly Sinless Life
2.Gave birth to God
3.accented to heaven alive as a virgin

Hope this helps, and Good luck.

It depends -- Most Christians are Catholic, and hold her in high regard. They frequently ask her to pray for them (they do not pray to her -- since they do not treat her like a God).

Most Protestants don't think about her much.

Muslims seem to have more respect for her than do Protestants.
