if a female is still growing rapidly, about 2000 Cal. but an adult women is about 1600. To maintain my weight, I eat about 1700/day. I have stopped growing am 5'2" and about 120lbs.
If you are more active, you consume more.
Males,esp. teen, can eat 2500-3000 Cal. i think.

there are only 2 real factors that determine how many calories anyone needs, male or female regardless of age.

how much body fat do they have. you only need to supply calories for lean body mass, not total body weight. fat doesn't need nutrients

the level of activity of the individual
