Lack of spirtual strength in modern day Church?

Here's my question to people or rather something I want to hear people's oppinion on, Mostly this question is for Religous and or Spirtual people, atheists and bastards who like to stab people for beliving something please leave it alone. Now anyway, Here's the thing, if you walked into a Chruch right now and said to a priest "Um dude there's like a demon in my house and he's trying to possess my mother." Right what would the preist do? Call the cops? Call the nutterhouse? Yet in the bible it talks about Christians (or Chatliocs whatever) batteling demons, and talking with spirits and healing the sick? DOn't you think that there's something missing in all this? LIke we lost a important part of what being a Christian is. If what's in the bible is true I belive that we have. I think Witches today have more right to call themselves Christains then we do, at least they do something about fighting ghosts and demons that they belive are around them. What are you're thoughts?

No I dont need the address to the nuthouse. I've never personally seen a demonic entity but if they do exist and if we are spoused to fight them then why do most christains not even belive there real anymore?

I agree, we have become too relaxed and have become content in just going to church 1 day a week. We act as though none of these things are going on. It's a shame more christians don't stand up for what they believe in.

First, as for spiritual posession, I honestly think that is very necessary in the US. Satan already has most of this country wrapped around his finger. Have you checked the ratings of American Idol or Desparite Housewives. So if you want to actually cast out demons, go to where they are. Africa and India.

As for spiritual battle here in the US, it first starts with you. Are you right with God. If you continue in sin, it is proof that you are not of God, but rather you are of the devil. If you're decieved yourself and think that you can go to chruch and pray a little prayer and be a Christian, but not grow on a regular basis in love, joy, peace, and other fruits of the spirit, then there is no need to go further. You're living a lie. You need to get right with God. The bible says to work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. Notice the fear and trembling part. Jesus said fear not man but fear God who can cast your body and soul into hell. The bible also says the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom. Fear God and the look at the cross to see what God did for you.

Second, the weapons we use are not those of flesh and bone, but our sword is the word of God. Speaking the word of God to others is our spiritual battle. As we do so, we must grow in our love for others, or again, God is not in us.

You have to have compassion on people. These athiests and people who speak against the cross. They are decieved by their own sin. They can not give up sin even if they tried and went through 50 self help programs. Why? because they are enslaved to it. Their sin will lead them to Judgement and then hell. And I would never want that for them, and if you're not truly saved, I would not want that for you.

We warn people of hell because it's true. They may hate it, dislike it, despise it or us because of it, but that doesn't make it not true. A loving thing is to tell a blindfolded person who is walking towards a cliff to turn around because he is heading towards death.

Don't miss the important things. Yes there are spirits of darkness. They are liars. That's why there are so many religions. Satan whispers into the ears of man, and man gets prideful and thinks he can start his own religion. Look at scientology as an example. Sometimes there are posessions, sometimes the spirits come as liars, many times they come as lust. So don't be decieved. Read the bible for yourself. Find a good bible believing church. I don't suggest catholic. And consider your salvation, then study to show yourself approved. Stay away from cults and false prophets.

All fake faith is the top time holy whore, if a catholic church is raping little ones, stealing from poor and widows, and so on then it is an element of the top time Babylon, and the comparable holds genuine with all church homes, one fake church ain't lots better than yet another. besides the undeniable fact that, save 2 Thessalonians 2 in ideas, the financial ruin says that the LORD won't return for His 2d coming till a large falling away happens, and this we see in only about all church homes who turn from Christ, their previous flame to worldliness and appeasing the flesh.

You have a good point. What about profits? There were thousands of profits back in the old days and they were held in high regard. Now if anyone says they talk to God, most people think they are nuts. What changed and Why?

I don't think people in Christians Church lack spirituality, they lack an understanding of the Word of God. We don't have to focus on Satan and his demons where Jesus lives, they do not. Don't become a "fruitcake Christian", keep your feet planted firmly on the Word of God.

There is deffinately demons and satan that rules over them. When Lucifer (satan) was cast out of heaven, he took a third of the angels who were loyal to him with him. He now rules either directly or indirectly the lives of those who do not have a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ. He can manifest himself in many different ways and if we don't know and believe what God's word tells us about him, we can get very frightened over the many evils in the world that he brings about. But those who have the Holy Spirit in them and belong to Jesus do not have any reason to fear the devil. Jesus defeated him at the cross. However like a roaring lion he roams about this world seeking whom ever he can devour. But God has removed his power and teeth for all Christians. I used to be filled with all kinds of fears including fear of the devil, but now that I belong to Christ, I have no reason to fear. Stronger is He who is in the Christian than he who is in the world (satan). Please don't waste your time looking for ghosts and demons when God has made it possible for you to be set free from the power of darkness through Christ and bring you into the kingdom of light. God has not given us a spirit of fear but of power and a sound mind. It is God who works giving us both the desire to do His will and the power to do it.
If God is for me, who on earth can be against me?
