*L* what if you were in the shoes of the one who would die if the other person didn't denounce their faith.....I bet all you that answer 'of course i would never denounce my faith because I love Jesus', would be begging and crying like a little girl for them to denounce their faith.....what a bunch of rubbish

I guess this life is 'cheap' according to christianity since they'd give it up for themselves and someone else in an instant.
Interesting on how everyone else seems to be pretty clear that this life is important enough not to be wasted over imaginary things.

The honorable thing to do would be to offer yourself instead. Who can say what we would do in such a situation? In an instant, one can put their life on the line for another. An ordinary coward can perform heroic acts, and an honorable person can commit heinous crimes. These "moments of truth" occur for everyone, and no one can predict for certainty what they will do when their faith is put to the test.

Please!!!!
I am not going to hold to anything I was forced to say under duress.
Yeah, I'll denounce my faith with my mouth, but that's as far as it would go.
I understand you were aiming this at Christians, they are not however the only people of faith.

I was horrified by the number of people who said they would let their families suffer and die before they denounced their faith. It is absolutely amazing that they could even say that. What a frightening religion Christianity is..

I believe God knows my heart and that He would not hold it against us for that moment in time to save lives. Now if it were my life ,I'd have to say No ,I would not denounce God.A little lie never condemned anyone.Rahab the Harlot lied to the soldiers when she hid the two Israelite spys under the flax ,and God honored her for it by putting her in King David and Jesus' lineage.

I have the assurance that if I die for refusing to denounce my faith, that I will be with my Lord Jesus. My loved ones have the same assurance, and would not renounce their faith or ask me to renounce mine.

Greater men than I have died rather than renounce their faith.
I would rather die once, than be a coward and die a thousand deaths.
