If you stopped someone for a moving violation, and they gave you a license like this:

Would you be tempted to let them go on a warning, or tempted to be more strict on them?

They use their real names.
It is more than one person who did that. They just go in to get their picture changed, which is legal in their state.

For a minor violation I would cut those guys a break. After twenty years on the job you need a good laugh every now and then. I forwarded that clip to a bunch of my fellow officer's and we all agreed. After laughing are a**es off.
I would strongly suggest that they contact the DMV and report their licenses lost and get a proper one though. Beware; having two is illegal and some coppers don't have as good a sense of humor.

If his sense of humor at the traffic stop matched the photo, I would definitely be a little less strict on him.
And to those who are commenting on multiple IDs, get a clue. Anyone with multiple IDs doesn't get them legitimately from the DMV. There's no law against "losing" an ID and getting a new one. I thought this was a question for police officers, use your heads.

I'd be tempted to be less strict, but probably no warning. If I stop you for a righteous mover, you are getting a ticket.
Most states allow you to change your picture. The DMV, and the government in general, prefers DL pics to match your current appearance as closely as possible.

As an officer I am using my head......."Being Stupid Without A Permission Slip" is an arrestable offense where I work! They need to be arrested!

He'd be wearing bracelets on his way to jail in about 2 seconds flat.

Well, since getting a lic under several names by that guy is a felony, I would gladly lock his stupid behind in jail.

Why don't you write to your president and tell him his National Security Policy is a fraud and you feel cheated. LMFAO.

I am not an officer but if I pulled them over I would probably let them go...after I stopped laughing.
