The knee kicker is fine. We did a 12' X 40' room with a knee kicker and it held perfectly.

yes, otherwise you will get wrinkles and bubbles in your carpeting ruining the intire piece, i have been a carpet installer 4 10 years and it only costs a couple of bucks to rent a kicker at your local rental shop, do it right the first time and you wont have to worry about it in the future!!!!!!!!!!!

It is if you want the carpet to lay flat and not bunch. The other alternative would be to glue the garpet to the floor, depending on the type of the carpet.

It is a very good idea to use these equipment they help to take off the pressure of using the bare hands and knees and they also help to protect against injuries.
