I mean the kind of liar that lies purely for his own selfish reasons.

The best way to come to grips with things like that is t to realize that this is life...People look out for themselves and it takes a special person that really truly cares about u to not lie to u or hurt u. But once u get past the realization that at some point everyones life they will be lied to and hurt by someone they thought would never do such a thing to them it makes it easier each and everytime. When someone totally betrays my trust I just chalk it up to another person who doesnt keep their word. Theres nothing i can do about that but keep being true to myself and never let myself down cause other people dont love u as much as u can love u

Someone much smarter than me once said: "If someone lies to you then there's a 9 out of 10 chance that they will steal from you". I have found this to be true all too many times. I don't like liars at all, to me they are trash and should be treated as such.

If he is truly (forgive the pun) a liar then you need to dump him and get on with your life as you should be. I knew this one girl who's boyfriend was a habitual liar. They even got married but for the last 30 years she has been having to cover up for his lies and it's making her miserable and you don't want to be like her.

Learn to see through the lies as I did with my gf. Untill the lies are about fooling around with someone else I have learned to deal with them.
