A little over a year ago, I met a Gypsy Tarot reader in Erie, PA at a little cafe that was doing a "Ladies' Night". She lives in Lily Dale, NY. I think her name was Virginia, but I am not sure. Her reading has been right on! The things she predicted have become true. And these were not general presumptions that could apply to anyone. They were rather specific. I am amazed. Would love to have a similar experience.

I actually did do a search on Lily Dale to see if anything came up on her. I am sure her name began with a "V".. almost certain it was Virginia. She was so nice.

I have had the Tarot read for me quite a few times. I was involved in Wicca in the 80's and tried to learn it myself (I stunk) and had many read it for me.
Most were hooey and a few were pretty good.
Oh, by the way, not all Gyspies can read Tarot. I am Rromani ("Gypsy") and I am dead as a chunk in that department. However I am an excellent phlebotomist. :) Actually the good Tarot readers I encountered were Gadje ("non-Gypsy")... there were no Rromani in the area in which I lived.
I see no harm with the Tarot. I am seeing many people caution against it. I do see harm with things like Oiuja boards but I have never heard of any problems with the Tarot other than risking being scammed and an intelligent consumer can avoid that.
