Satan has gathered his minions and they were removed from heaven but no, theyre not in hell (Revelation chapter 12).

The reason why Satan was allowed to live, even Adam and Eve is to answer Satan's challenge against God, his right to rule (sovereignty)...if God killed Satan and the erring humans then, all the billions of angels watching would have seen how God handled the situation, and the challenge wouldn't be answered. Until now, all of us are faced with this challenge (Proverbs 27:11).

The angels have seen God's power, wisdom, love and justice...they have seen what have become of Satan when he entertained bad desires and became evil...should another angel rebel...they know what will happen.

I'm not sure what you are asking? How could we answer for God? In terms of Lucifer, Lucifer rebelled against God in the Great War because of pride (one of the 7 deadly sins) and took a third of the heavenly host (the heavenly armies) with him when he fell. Why did he rebel though? One theory is that God wanted all of his angels to bow to his creation of man and Lucifer didn't want to do this, thinking it was too humbling. "A son of fire should be forced to bow before a son of clay?" Also, contrary to popular belief, Satan and Lucifer are two separate fallen angels. Satan is believed to have tempted Eve with the apple (though that is a creationism myth all on it's own) and he fell because he was jealous of God's love of Adam. But I'm losing the point. By past examples, if there was another rebellion in heaven, it would be handled like the previous examples. Banished to walk among the Earth or serve in Hell.

There will be a rebellion at the end of the millinium
Rev 20:7-9
And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,

8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.

9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them

10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

I think your question is if satan rebelled how could a christian be sure that the palace or heaven would ever be safe?

We cant.
Its not covered anywhere that I know of.
GOD gave angels and men free will, so they can do what they want.

But if you believe the Bible version.. GOD is all powerful so he can never be defeated so heaven would be safe no matter who rebelled.

Simple. That is what this life is all about. It is here that people either make a decision to follow and obey, or not. Those who decide not do not make it to heaven. That is why there is a hell.
