Have either one of your parents ever gotten so frustrated with life that they just walked out on you and the rest of your family?

My mom walked out on my father, brother, sister and I when I was 10 years old. In some ways it was bad others good. Looking back now I wish she had stayed gone. When she came in contact with us 6 years later she did more harm than good. I truely believe some women should never have children, she was one and my sister is another.

My Dad had an affair when I was 5yrs old. He left us for his new woman and took on the responsibility of her "children" We were his blood but nothing more. He really didn't give us the time we needed. I have forgiven him in fact just 2yrs ago. It took alot of me, but it took more not forgiving him. I have chosen to move on and I hope that he will continue to try and be in our lives now. He has made attempts, but his grandchildren have suffered from his "step" as well. It is the sad truth and seems there is alot of irresponsible parents, and perhaps they are better of elsewhere, cause they obviously don't have a clue on how to make a family a happy union!

Yep, my dad when my brothers & I were small. He loved drinking more than us. He was an over-the-road truck driver, so we seldom saw him. But we knew when it was payday because we wouldn't see him for weeks. Then my mom finally had enough, took my 2 brothers and me and moved in with my grandmother. We found out when my youngest son was in kindergarten that my dad died on Skid Row in Chicago.

Yup my dad and remarried and now trying too get back with my mom and actually showed up the other day I was like hell NO! and actually trying too get back with my mom and asked her too see if we wanted too meet our other brother and sisters f^^k that s##t messed up hah.Every one said hi and s##t but not me not interested at all

my dad and mom separated and he never bothered to call or come back he just went on with his life and got a new family...
