First let's make sure we have our terminology correct. I assume you mean you want to lose 30lbs of FAT. Just about anybody can lose 30lbs in 3 months if you don't mind losing muscle and water weight at the same time. But these are not advised, so let's get back to FAT loss.
30lbs of FAT loss in 3 months is a little fast, but might be possible. I would recommend just making it a goal to get as fit and lean as you can in that time and be happy with that. It's recommended that you should lose no more than 2 lbs of fat per week, but that's just a guesstimate. Some people do better (though probably very few) and some not as good. You should be able to do that pretty easily at first, but you will likely lose less and less as you get closer to that 3 months since your body is getting closer to it's "ideal" body content.
So I would recommend starting to eat a healthy diet and getting in the right foods at the right time. I would also start a resistance exercise routine to maintain your current muscle and maybe even add a little more (muscle burns calories ALL DAY long and is also what give our body shape). I would supplement this with aerobics as well and if you do both in the same day I recommend doing the aerobics AFTER you lift weights so that your body will start burning fat right away.
Be consistent, get plenty of rest, and be patient.
Hopefully after the 3 months are over you will want to continue this healthy lifestyle for both you and your significant other.

This is totally doable. It will be hard and take alot of discipline. Have you ever watched the biggest looser? Some of those people lost up to 5 pounds a week or more!!! But you have to look at how hard they worked. And they had doctors monitoring their progress. Most of them were eating around 1100 calories a day and working out around 4 hours a day. The problem with this plan is that it is really hard and you get burned out really easily! You should buy the book and it has excellent meal plans, exercises, and success stories to help keep you motivated. Keep your eye on the prize and set small goals. Don't say you have to loose 10 pounds this month. Instead, just look at the weekly goal and then once you reach that you will feel like a super star and in will give you the kick start you need.

if you are desperate to lose that much it is possible, but the faster you shed weight, the longer you will have to stay on a strict diet to maintain it. Personally I'd go for a healthy eating and exercise diet and lose it slowly but if you want to get the wight off quickly try this> Make up a huge veg soup with nothing artificial, no potatoes etc. This is the basis for the diet & you can eat it whenever you're hungry, any day, as much as you like. Then eat only fruit day 1, 2 veg, 3 mix of both , 4 bananas & skim milk plus lots water, 5 steak or fish & tomatoes, 6 as 5 with veg, 7 brown rice, veg & fruit juice. You will lose weight very quickly, but if you go back to junk food, or anything that isn't picked or caught you will put weight backon. You will feel fab on this diet but limit to 2 weeks in a row. good luck.

very do-able and easier than you think, go and check out the guys i got recommended-they are the best. you should lose 10 pounds a month without even trying!! if losing some pounds of any description is what you want then I used a great website and coach who helped me. They were very friendly and gave me lots of great advice. I needed to lose 40 pounds and I did so fairly easily. The website is www.myhealthabcmall.com once you fill in your details then you can see the full range of products they have. The products really work and you feel great whilst losing weight, its all nutrition based.
I lost all my weight in less than three months and they have helped me to keep it off. I would definitely recommend using them, the tips you get and encouragement are excellent (their advice and time is FREE). I am still with them so I stay healthy. If you just want to buy the products and not use the coaching then you can do that aswell, there is a link in there to email them so you can tell them you just want to buy and not speak to anyone. The owners will even advise you via email on what to purchase depending on what you want to lose, my sister did it this way (she was more self conscious than me) and lost 76 pounds in less than five months. These guys are just great, try them.

Its possible but unhealthy. but i have no room to talk. Im on a diet thats strong and my dr said ill lose 20-30 pounds in the first month. most of that being water weight . Right now im losing 6 pounds a week. I dont recoomend it at all. it sucks. but if you have to- then its your choice.. I used to intake 3500 cals a day, I decreased it by 3000.. so im intaking 500 a day.. a pound off a week is -500... but in my case i eat 3 healthy meals a day but hardly any calories.. wich is fine for me, i eat 3 meals a day before BUT they were unhealthy and mostly fast food. Also im walking 15,000 steps a day.. 10k gaurentees never gain a pound.. more than that the more you walk to more you lose. its better for you then anything..
So.. watch what you eat.
Drink lots of Fluids- diet sodas are ok.
Stay away from sugar and to many carbs.
WALK as much as you can- get a pedometer..

Honestly, I don't think you can lose 30 pounds in 3 months. That is alot of weight. Perhaps if you run alot and eat only 500 calories, but that is NOT healthy.
Instead concentrate on taking it one day at a time. Work out, eat well and look forward to your big day.
You will be beautiful any way. He loves you for you, not for your weight. Bask in the day and enjoy each other. Weight is not what is in the heart.

it is do-able! 30 pounds in 3 months is about 2 1/2 pounds a week. if you limit yourself to 1500 calories a day and do 30 min of cardio 6 days/week (and I mean work up a sweat) and weight training 2-3 times a week you should have no problem! just eat a well balanced diet and try not to eat after 7:30 pm!

You can lose up to 8 pounds a month, so 24 pounds is the most you can lose in 3 months, unless you cut down your calorie intake and really work out. In order to lose 2 pounds a week you need to decrease your calorie intake by 500 and also exercise and burn off 500 calories.

Yes it is, but it's not easy. You'll really have to control your portion and quality of food, and exercise at least 4 times a week.
