I know it states in the army reg that after 28 weeks the soldier is limited to a 40 hour work week, no more than 8 hour days, but I need the part of it that says when the 8 hour days begins. Anyone have a helpful site?

I think the reg you might be looking for is AR 40-501 para 7-9. It states that the workweek should not exceed 40 hours and no more than 8 hours per day. The duty day begins with reporting for formation of duty (this should be PT formation). I was stationed at Ft. Campbell during my pregnancy and my 8 hrs started with PT formation so I would leave at 2 pm every day. Hope this helps.

when i was in the Army, we had 2 pregnant females and they were placed in my supply room on these limited days. They pretty much ran their own days and did their own thing according to doctors orders. I am not sure what kind of bosses you have that are dictating your 8 hour days, but as the time goes along you are reduced to 6 and then 4 hour days. Good luck.

It doesn't say when the 8-hour day begins, only that it ends 8 hours after it begins.

I am a nco in the army. Your day begins at first formation. So if first formation is 0630 then your day will be over with at 1430. you can ask your doctor if they are military to explain it to you and have them put the info on print. If not go to the troop clinic and they can help you

God, no. All I did became walk around the music for an hour and communicate with the different preggos. each so often we did not even ought to attempt this. If our 1SG wasn't on the first formation, no individual else made us walk. :P
