at large health food stores you can buy Atomidine (or over the internet). Put a drop of that in your ear when you are done swimming. If it hurts really bad when you put in the Atomidine, then you have an infection, but the Atomidine will clear it up. If it doesn't hurt, Atomidine will clear up what ever is causing the puss, unless it is just earwax that is softened by swimming. In that case, perhaps you should consider an ear candle.

It's a condition called swimmers ear and it is an ear infection. You need to see your doctor and get some ear drops to put in the ear until the infection clears up. You need to hold off swimming until you can clear up the infection, the swimming aggravates it. It is serious, if left untreated. Scar tissue can build up and can cause diminished or loss of hearing in the infected ear.

Pus = infection.
See a Doctor before the infection gets worse or deepens into your ear causing hearing problems.

You could have eczema.
And the pus is an infection which can be caused by dirty water
It can't damage your hearing as it doesn't go right into the ear drum,
It can however cause pain and discomfort

Pus is a sign of infection. Get yourself to a dr. now, before you do more damage to your hearing. This could be very serious if not treated.
