I mean you have monotheist (people who believe in one God) who don't like polytheist (people who believe in many God's). I don't understand the big debate. A monotheist just worships the creator in totality while the polytheist worships a side that they feel connected to, any way you look at it we are all worshiping and feeling a connection to the creator so why can't we all just glorify and be happy in the similarities instead of killing each other over our variances?

I think it's because people fear what they don't understand.. I don't understand alot of religions, but I think they are all quite interesting. I just want to learn about them, it isn't for me or anyone else to say which is the "right" religion because to me, they all lead to the same place.....(like the webs a spider weaves, all paths lead to the center)..... Pagan and Proud.....

Some are fanatics, some others think there is an absolute truth (the one they believe in) and everybody who doesn't agree with them is wrong and will be condemned... there are also some others with are in the 'grey' zone.
I think it's the human nature to disagree, and when it goes to the bone there are fights.... it's not only about religion, it could be politics, races, sports, even more everyday things like it is impossible that everybody agrees that 'Joe' is nice.
It would be great if everybody in the world could accept, or at least tolerate everybody else as they are, and focus on live our own lives the best we could.

Bible prove that there is so many Gods... but there is only One father, one Son and One holy spirit, aside from this psalm indicate other Gods, even moises became God accroding to the scriptures. It is not bad to fight for what you believe in... The scripture that men must know the truth and the only way for you to seek the right path of righteousness is to see who really follow God's will. Seeking is ordered by God. I believed that in the last days of the world the true church will be emerged, as prophecy in the scripture and everything that is written must be fullfilled even on the sons of man.

People are predisposed to attack those with beliefs in opposition to their own. The subject does not have to be religion. Where a NY Yankees hat on a stroll through Boston and you'll see what I mean.

Beliefs are not the product of logical thought and behavior around beliefs is often non-logical as well as illogical.

Truth brings divine love. The reason for war, theft, lies, and other natural traits of humans is that no religion can drive love into anyone’s heart. When God’s love enters the heart, only then can a change for the better occur.

religion is term framed by human beings. Now along with the religion there some rules and regulations which are attached to it. So when you say u belong to a religion, it purely meant that u abide to its rules and regulations, which in-turn were framed by Men. So get ur self attached to god based on ur personal experience(one to one ) with God. U will surely find the answers urself.

We kill over the right to own a piece of land and exploit it's resources. NO ONE makes an expensive war against someone who lives on a rock, unless they have sheep like they do in the Falklands (Malvinos)!

because human nature is to divide by differences rather than unite through similarities...religion has always been used as a form of control...the church controls its members through their laws and the promise of heaven, they perpetuate conflict by instilling the idea that there is only one 'right way' and anyone who does not follow the path is wrong...
