Preuss Pets in Lansing Michigan has access to both blue and green species. I just checked for another Answer's asker last night. We took pictures, and I'm expecting that she'll email them to me within a day or so. All are hand fed, all are really sweet, and all come from a very good, reputable breeder. In store, right now, there's one green one, and the blue ones are still with the breeder, not yet weaned.

If you need info, www.preusspets.com is the place to go.

EDITED TO ADD...almost took the high road on this but couldn't resist. To the person who answered your question with the retort "Please don't cage birds", I say to your landlord "Please don't house idiots..." There. I said it. Phew. I feel better now.

First, make sure that they are legal in your state. Several states do not allow them to be kept and if they are found, they are put to sleep.

Second, google quaker parrot breeders + your city and state. You can also check in Bird Talk Magazine. Breeders advertise in the back.

Flocks of wild, non-community quakers do no longer really pose a difficulty for CA agriculture. there is only no longer any flocks huge adequate to decimate flowers. States like CA have also outlawed ferrets and gerbils for a similar purpose: they have the potential to thrive in the CA habitat, they generally squeeze out, or hunt the community species, a number of which could be endangered.
