i know what you're talking about! he was probably surprised to see you (maybe he had you on the brain?) or that was his salutation...his way of saying hi and breaking the silence.

that he likes you
and saying your name out load for no reson
is hes way of showing you ( or hinting in a very wierd way )
that he would like you to recognize him

Maybe he just said it like...hello..depends on the tone he said it in i guess.
And you really should punctuate, it would make your question easier to understand!
You know, a period here, a comma there. It wouldn't hurt ;-)
