That man is scary... like... scary in the "Snuggle bear unnatural animatronic get that thing away from me" way. You know that Snuggle bear thing? The spokes machine for that fabric softener? SCARYYYY.

I think he looks like Hannibal Lecter out of the Silence of the Lambs. He gives me the creeps.

I don't think so; in some candid pictures, he has a nice smile. I will say, however, that the pomp and circumstance and papal attire do not exactly spell "approachable and down to earth" to me.
