i'm 17, i have a secret crush on a gut that has some classes with me, but the situation is a bit complicated, he was in love with that girl and the thing ended up not working the way he liked and he got hurt, and he's leaving for switzerland (one reason why he's leaving is that he got hurt) in a month and he'll never come back except in vacations, i can only see him at college. I don't know if I should tell him, I really want to. we hang out alot with our friends of course, obviously he likes me only as a friend, I don't know what to do... please help :(

tell him or you may be letting the love of your life go. its tough to put yourself out there but if you don't, are you really living? we all have to take a chance on love every now and again, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't but if you just sit and wonder you'll never experience any of it.

Go Ahead and find a time when you are both somewhat alone at least and tell him how you feel. You mention he is leaving in a month for Switzerland, so even if he does not feel open your feelings or feel the same way you do, then well...he's leaving the country so you would not be running into him all the time anyways! (and feeling a little embarrassed)

If you feel that strongly for him then tell him how you feel. There are no guarantees in life. He may respond positively or tell you he wants to remain friends. The main thing is to try. Don't let the idea of rejection stop you from being with the guy you care about.

It's always nice to feel Loved! No one will ever have enough of that. He needs to know that you'll be there, thinking about him. Make sure you can keep in touch, all Year long. Some of the best relationships, start off as long-distance Friendships. Who knows!

Just tell him now. If he doesn't want you like that then there is nothing to be embarrassed about, because he'll be gone. And when you tell him mention how you know what he's been through and how you promise not to treat him the way she did.

What have you got to lose. Tell him. You may never get the chance again. Why is he running away ? You can never get away from yourself. Friends are great. You both have a great start.

definitely tell him that you have major feelings for him! if he totally rejects you (which i'm sure he won't) then you at least won't have to look at him every day to be reminded of that. you've got NOTHING to lose, so get some confidence and SPILL YOUR GUTS!
