I live currently in a flatshare and have a female flatmate who is a so called "vampire", she has psychological issues, cannot be alone and stalks people in the flat just to get attention. It is extremely difficult to set boundaries with her, as she seems to "suck" energy from you even through the walls and closed doors. I cannot move out at the moment. Is there a way to protect oneself against such vampirism?

Im no expert but ive read loads of books on this!! loads!! These people are seriously creepy.Ive only had these people in my life or noticed them when ive been weak and unable to set my own boundaries. So in light of that its up to you to build up your mental strength rather than to analyse how to deal with the mad tormented thoughts of a vampire. They really arent worth working out, because they cant even explain themselves.

The people who are telling you to visualize protections for yourself are the ones you should be listening to. You have to come up with your own visualization that works for you, but a bubble of light does work for a lot of people.

If this girl was physically trying to suck your blood you'd put up physical protections like locks on the doors. Since what she's doing is not on a physical level you have to put up emotional protection. Meditation where you calm and center yourself and then visualize something that keeps your energy protected from other people will work wonders for you. I've used various images over the years. Whatever you choose to use as an image make sure it resonates with your own personal belief system.

Once she realizes that she can't get anything from you she'll leave you alone.

I feel a neighbour is doing same exact thing to me, I make the sign of the cross on the front door, all around the walls & ceilings. If u can imagine a bubble of white light around you & ur room. Also, put up little mirrors around, also imagine a circle of mirrors around urself. I am sorry to admit I used 2 b like that, I didn;t know what was happening 2 me & i didn;t do it on purpose. So maybe she doesn't know what she's doing & have an honest talk with her, tell her does she know she's doing this & how she's bothering people? if she carries on like this, she's going to have to leave,
also tell her "mentally" u wish 2 be left alone & to stop othering you in the name of God.

ancient traditions the world over beleive that there is an energy system that surrounds and pervades the human body. called by many names - chi, qi, ki, prana etc.

all of have a different 'level' of energy if you like.

if you take two cups of water that have different levels of water in them and connect them - the water levels in both will balance to the same level.

so it is with people - if you have two people with different levels of energy together - the energy will try to balance out.

most often people of low energy will not know that they are 'sucking' the energy from others as this 'balancing' process is natural.

however there are some people who know they are low and will purposefully seek 'high' energy people.

a good way to protect oneself from energy sucking - is to visualise a protective barrier surrounding you. place yourself in an prism of brilliant white light. or within a violet flame.

most often once 'low' energy people realise they are getting nothing from you - they leave and look for other sources.

again - remember - this balancing is more often a natural process and so it is not intended as a malevolent act.

this is going to sound a ittle crazy but i know a few people who do the same thing.. they enter the room and suddenly it is like everything is negative. What works ( this sounds crazy but try it) is focusing as much as you can on yourself... visualise something like a bubble around your body and try to fill your head with good memories i.e a significant other you have, family, favourite tv show.. and it should stop her from sucking your energy out.

first of all try the garlic approach, if that doesn't work try the cruciffix to the forehead trick - it will scar, but she'll survive. if none of these work, you'll have to go for the wooden stake through the heart approach - but this is only a last resort. good luck.

Sorry, but if she was that bad, you'd find a way to move. If she's merely annoying, avoid her as much as possible. If she's mental, call the hospital.

Cover yourself in garlic, vampires hate it... or find the head vampire and kill it, then she will return to normal
