When too much alcohol is consumed, many cells of the body take on a more fluid membrane from the alcohol's effects. When an alcoholic completely stops, the cells get a harder cell membrane (because they were dependent on the other effects for for so long) which makes it harder to export/import into the cell.
This doesn't mean that all people die. It does mean that the body has a hell of a time in correcting this mess.
I'd say there is a very very very small chance, but an overwhelming "no" for my answer.

No, this is not true. They can go through what's called "DT'S", where when they come off the alcohol they can get very sick depending on how much they have been consuming. Perhaps if they are in a very bad state when they stop, what their body goes through after not drinking could kill them. Now, having said that, it doesn't mean that continuing to drink will help either, it will kill them eventually, if they drink heavily enough. We just had a friend die at the age of 43 from alcohallism and I can assure you,it wasn't from stopping drinking! We always wished he would though.

Possibly. It is said that alcohol withdrawal is the most dangerous even above heroin; both can kill you. In a case that the alcoholic is so toxic, they need to have a 'medical' withdrawal which means they are observed closely & administered medication (even alcohol) to prevent the siesures that can kill them. Then comes months of rehab & a lifetime in the program. But it will save your life.

Sometimes when the amount of blood in the alchohol running through an alchoholic's veins changes to become an alchohol in blood running thru the veins instead, all that excessive plague in the blood just clogs up all the arteries and stuff and they suffer a stroke or seizure or heart attack.

no....not at all. A severe alcoholic may experience hallucinations as part of the withdrawals, but he will not die.

Not in most cases, though if a person is in an advanced stage of physical dependancy, it could be possible.
