Do you need to be a professional photographer to know how to use lightroom, or do you need experience in photoshop? I just downloaded it yesterday and it was a bit confusing? Any opinions?

its used to get some effects that you could normaly get from photoshop a lot quicker, with only one or two steps. thats what i use it for, image filters. but its still buggy, slow, and not as user friendly as it should be.
