G'day,

If you are already a good friend, why not start with going out with friends, but during the outing, give him more attention or talk to him more, but do it without interrupting him or monopolising him. After doing this a few times, either he got some 'hints' of your intention; OR you can see that he will feel threatened or constantly ignoring you (prefer to chat with the boys or other specific girl) which in this case you should bail out and decide to be good friend (rather than forcing the issue and lost the friendship).
If it seems that he got the hints, then he may already ask you out on movie or dinner, or you can ask him out as good friend. You can then make another judgement whether or not he is really interested in pursuing further relationship with you.

I guess this is a more elaborate & subtle schemes then asking him directly. So it depends on your personality and it's your choice.

Hope this helps and good luck.

properly, pay attention Brit, inspect it this way- he's 3 years older than you. think of your self 3 years in the past. have you ever replaced lots because of the fact you have been 10 years previous? i might think of so... i'm an analogous age as this guy, and, certainty be counseled, men my age act lots different than they did 3 years in the past and that i word this. i think of that's superb so you may be *acquaintances* with him, yet i might propose you to not date him (not now a minimum of). And there are assorted different men. you're saying you "kinda" like him, so I take that's unlike you have a important crush on him besides. enable it circulate. there will be others. I met a guy I fell in love with 4 months once I grew to become 14. And he replace into purely 4 days older than me.

Just ask him, unless its apride thing for you girls, I would not mind if a girl did some of the work to start a relationship, especially since you know each other already

just talk to him in a serious, and honest manner, if a girl liked me, and we were close I'd like to know the truth, if you tell him truthfully, you are more likely to get an honest answer. But tell him when its just you and him, hope it works for u....berthol

i would say to just tell him straight forward, but i know that would be akward. You should probably flirt, give him hints. Or write a note or get one of your friends to tell him.
