I'm trying to get some honey warmed up but I'm pretty sure the plastic will melt if I put it in the microwave...what is the best way to warm it up?

Set it in a pan of warm (not hot) water off the stove and wait a few minutes. Or run warm water from the tap over the closed bottle.

Get a container that is larger than the honey bottle--fill it about 1/2 to 2/3 of the way with really hot water and set the honey bottle in the water for a few minutes. It will warm up pretty quick.

You can warm it in the microwave, be careful that you only give it about 30 seconds at a time, and then check to see if it is warm enough. Repeat if necessary.

To liquefy honey, simply place the honey container in a water bath on your stove. Take your time and, please, make sure that it warms just enough to return to a liquid state. Please, for best results, be sure it gets no warmer than 135 F (use a thermometer) --- and, never microwave honey if you want to preserve its flavor and nutritional food value.
