Through the fear of the Lord a man avoids evil? Can I just love and have faith in God, just Him - no man or God in man form or whatever the Christians brainwash you with.

My sin is atoned through love and faithfulness in God?

READ THE NEW TESTAMENT OF THE BIBLE (KING JAMES VERSION) The bible story of Jesus Christ the son of God who is the Savior. That story begins in matthew ,its also told in mark and luke and john.they are the four gospel writers that tell the story of Jesus the Lord .Jesus taught and performed many miracles and when it was time he was crucified on a cross .we call him Savior because thats what the bible calls him .. God sent him to this earth to teach and perform his will . It was the fathers will to have Jesus die a horrible death upon the cross , not because God would be cruel to his own son , but the thing was that God is a just God and he wanted his people to be free from sin and live onto him and grow up into his righteousness .Justice had to be served ,because sin had to be penalized ,as it is written 'the soul that sinneth it shall die" Ezekiel 18:4--- so the sins of a man had to meet justice -whether he be justified or condemned, at that time under the law of moses a man had to keep the whole law. now God the father sent Jesus the son to begin a New and LIving way , now the death ,burial and ressurection of Christ tells the story of a heavenly being (Jesus) Gods son who came to this earth being born in the flesh ,his mother mary being impregnated by the Holy Ghost, (matthew 1:20 ) for the purpose of Jesus fulfilling Gods foreordained plan. Jesus came to save that which was lost. He taught people how they ought to live and love one another ,he performed miracles and taught people about heaven and about God and his kingdom. When the time came and the chief priests called for Jesus to be killed ,the priests having appealed to a man named pilate,he replied to them that this Jesus i find no fault in him, but they cried all the more to crucify him, so they did. and thus began the story of Jesus and his saving power, death could not hold him as death had men before him , he died was buried and arose from the dead to live forever more by the power of God having taken upon himself the sins of the whole world he became the redeemer to all those who obey the fathers will thru his name, they will live forever with him.The bible tells us how to be saved ,it does not have to be a mystery. iam giving you some verses to examine, that teach the gospel plan of salvation. That plan first says that we must Hear-mark 12:29-romans 10:17 -we are also taught to believe-hebrews 11:6-mark 16:16- to repent-luke 13;3&5-acts 2:38- to confess-romans 10:9&10- to be baptized--mark 16:16--matthew 28:19--also john 3:18 tells us that -He that believeth on him is not condemned, but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten son of God., Visit a church of Christ and listen to what is taught and check the bible and see the harmony in what is taught and what is written. also you could visit a site on the internet called newtestamentchurch.org ,this is a very good site to hear Gods word. anyway thank you and i hope i have answered your question , bob L.

Having faith in Jesus Christ is having faith in God. The Father and the Son are one.
"Love and faithfulness" can not atone for sin. God, Who set up the rules, said atonement comes through the blood. So, either I must die a spiritual death (eternal separation from God, Who is good), or I must find someone else to die for me. But, everyone else must die for their own sin. That is everyone excpet jesus because He led a sinless life here on Earth. He gave his blood to be available for our sins. But, we must believe and confess that He is the Christ (Messiah, only Son of God) and believe that God raised Him from the dead. Romans 10:9. Then we will be saved.

Makes me want to follow and believe in a God that I am afraid of. Why does a God need to have people fear him so that they do what he wants? That is a classic sign of the school yard bully, or the guy who beats his wife, they are compensating for something lacking in their character or something lacking elsewhere. I have no sin, so I do not need to apologize or kiss butt to anyone. If God says that I sin, then he should not have made me imperfect and give me free will. What kind of a creature creates something that is not perfect, gives them free will to do whatever, and then expects them not to make mistakes? That is a sick being that does that. So you stick to your evil, wife bashing God who you have to praise all the time due to his small........ego. Stick to your sins and the feeling of guilt that you obviously have. Guilt for your actions are due to you not actually following your head when you do things. Obviously you are not doing what you think is right, or else you would realize that you do not sin.

You break man's law and when the police come looking for you they don't say, "you killed this person and took his money...but you helped the poor with it and the widows and have been so loving and good since then".

No, they will say you commited this crime and you must pay with death or life imprisonment.

We have all broken God's laws and the punishment is death, but we all decide we will come up with our own way to make it right.

God says NO!

That is just religion.
Religion is man's futile attempt to reach God and make right.

God in His attempt to reach man sent His Son Jesus to pay that price, the death penalty for you.

The just for the unjust.

You saying you have your own way is like slapping God and spitting on His son which he sacrificed for you according to His justice system.

There is none righteous, no not one. And your good deeds won't wipe them away, you are found wanting in the scales.

He honors faith in Him and His payment, not all of the good works you can muster up, He says it is as filthy rags to Him.

Choose His righteousness, not your own, He is not impressed.

Your sin is atoned for in the blood of Jesus Christ. That is Bible Studies 101. This is God's provision for mankind and we must accept it or reject it. To accept the atonement of Christ at the cross is to live and be blessed. To reject the crass is to die and be cursed. This is not something to argue about, but to accept. You can argue with me until you are blue in the face, but you cannot argue with God. God says it in his holy Word and that settles it. Feel good religion will get you nothing but eternal damnation.
